repair power fc

Ive just lost all power to mine inc the screen. does anyone know where i can get it repaired or is there a base unit going on the cheap?

Silly question but did you check that the commander was plugged into the ecu properly.  The connection isnt\' very good at the best of times and can pop loose.

Or is it the actually ecu that isnt getting power?

i had this problem a while back. had to buy a new one. if it happens again id go with a motec ecu. if you do need a new one speak to reworx about a motec before you spend your money on a new apexi as i dont think there much more expensive.

I tried the connection it was fine. before i lost all power the silver bos made a little fizz noise. If i mess with the wires at the back of the box i get a buzzing sound but all the connectors were in properly.
 
could i have shorted something out now ive got rid of the twin tub setup and gone single?
 
who tunes the motec?

when mine went it worked erraticaly for a short while. i took the unit up to rxmotors and tried it on tims car But there was nothing there. I know that reworx supply and map the motec not sure about any of the other tuners but im sure they would.

cool not sure whats happened but i feel like jacking the thing in at the mo.

It was th eegi fuse lol, but it sounded like it came from the box. car still doesnt start though.
