Morning all,
I\'m mid install of my 1680\'s and KGParts rail, was just checking up on a few things and i\'ve found something that confuses me(for a change).

As far as I can see, in the stock system the fuel flows from pump to FPD, then (looking from the front of the car) enters the primary rail at the rear side of the bay, flows through, out the front, and into the secondary rail at the front. Then back out the firewall side via the FPR. All good - that\'s how i was going to fit my secondary rail.

Then i found this:

Which shows the flow from primary to secondary joining on the other side

Can it be done either way?
I think the fittings i\'ve got allows me to run the way it does at the mo, but does it matter?
Cheers all :)

If you open the attachment and look at the "external fuel rail" diagram it should help to see how you plumb the system

Cheers clive - that doesn\'t really answer my question though I\'m afraid - I know how it flows, I just need to figure out the physical connections :)

All I know is, it looks so pretty :) Someone found me some diagrams for the stock FC vs a modded FC fuel diagram:

Modded:

Don\'t know if that helps at all?

The answer is you car run it into either at any endin any order, in an s shape. i,e sequential but some run it parrallell ie out of feed into both using an F piece then exits both into fpr, its up to you how you do it but id go parallell. it depends which kg kit you get the good kit you can do parrallel the cheap kit i got is only one into the other, the kit b exits the secondary rail into the fpr then back to the tank from underneath. hope this answers your question. it puzzled me for a bit too.

i know what im talking about anyway lol.

think S or O shaped

Blimey, I read that it was in series running into the secondary rail first then into the primary. Then on to the FPR and then to the return line !
