I rememeber my mum cooking a big piece of ham in coke. Was very tasty and gave it a lovely sweet taste. :D

Well, the screws are still sitting in the coke.. dunno if it\'s doing anything to them now as the fizz seems to have gone.. but i did pull one out last night and gave it a wipe and all the crap that was on them just wipes away back to new.. I just need to find a time where i can be arsed wiping about 300 screws.. :(

Do you think it you put a bolt and nut that have seized together in coke it would "fizz" away the rust or corrosion and easy loosing of said bolt? Might need to try that out!

Yep, Its in a different league to the off the shelf products you\'ll find in motorfactors and even restoration sites like Frost.

They make some genuinely exceptional products.

Sounds worth a bash then.

I have never had any luck with any of the products - yet for some reason I keep trying!

I also tried Jenolite which was supposed to be fantastic - I found it did sweet FA!  All the rubbing in with a wire brush was what removed any of the rust! :Grrr
