I know this has prob been asked before hundreds of times, but i\'m looking for a set of coilovers for my fd. I\'m only gonna be driving the car on the road with a set of 19\'s or 20\'s on it so its only for looks, but i want a bit of comfort as well.
I\'m thinking of the following makes:
BC racing
K-sport
HSD\'s
Tein Super Streets.

has anyone got any of these? please help!:3Confused

Are you looking for new or used?

If you are looking at New we can supply a set of Nitron Single adjustable sports shocks.  They are £1245 + VAT.  An exceptional shock that will give you everything you could possibly need for an Rx7

prob new, unless i was getting a set that was hardly used at all.
being honest i wouldn\'t pay that for coilovers. The BC\'s are about £580,HSD\'s £670,Super Streets £650 so thats the kinda money i\'m looking to spend really. Like i say their only for looks.:burnout

Not sure if you are looking for new and being honest sorry can\'t comment specifically on any of the above other than the Super Streets,

Hopefully members can help with how compliant the above are but I can tell you one story.

As most of us know coil overs on FD\'s are great for track but most will take your teeth out when you hit a bump or pot hole the Super Streets are not bad and do a good job for the money but like others they are designed primarily to be on track and not road,

The story I will tell surrounds a customer called Tony who\'s user name on MRC is agent-orange who\'s love is his Orange RX-8, however 2 months ago he rang to say that unless he could find a compliant suspension system for his RX-8 he would have to sell it because his wife was finding the ride just too harsh due to a medical condition where her neck must not be jarred,

I knew from previous experience with RX-7\'s and RX-8\'s that the Tein Mono Flex was the only way Tony could have a compliant ride for his wife and keep his car,

Once fitted and set up very soft with very little preload on the springs Tony\'s wife actually thanked us for making the car usable for her, plus the upside for Tony was that he was staggered that even on soft settings the car cornered so much faster than when he just had lowering springs fitted,

If you wish you can find more details here about this kit that is very adjustable and will give a real nice ride ,
