I am in the process of making some bells to fit my brake kit.

The std disks are set about 50mm inside of the hub face, I have made a sample bell which has the disc level with the hub face. This brings the caliper much closer to the wheel spokes, mostly because it looks good.

I am looking for opinions as to the possible problems with this setup?

the only problem will be wheel clearance of the caliper,  you may have trouble getting a deep dish wheel to fit.  When i did mine, i built the whole set up on the bench with the upright, hub etc and the wheels i was going to use, then you just make it all to fit as needed. I see no issue with having the disc further out, most new performance cars have minimum clearance between the wheel and caliper although FWD cars tend to use higher ETs.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Caliper clearance is fine with the wheels I have, but maybe I will be restricting my choice
