The red RX7 was up 4 sale last year on pistonheads for £3750,it looks a very good car with genuine mileage with nothing needing doing.
Also comes with red elford turbo alloys as spares.:WaveBye

I have two FB\'s one is an 85 and the other was registered in 86 both UK cars and both are off the road at the moment.

David Nock (RIP)

Thanks ghostjd. Could you let me have a bit of detail, say colour of each plus Reg or part Reg if possible but some don\'t always like to give the Reg detail. Are you figuring both as runners or is one only for spares?
Forgive me for this but where\'s Comber?
For interest, my plan is to push out a simple chart of 1st Gens by Series (1,2,3),stating colour and County, probably not much more than that for reasons as above.

I bought the 85 as a project car there was no reg plate on it but I could get the chassis number for you if that helps, its original colour was silver but previous owner painted it red and black.  Reason it wont go back on the road is the chassis is in terrible condition its rotten with rust and I personally wouldn\'t want to go round the track in it never mind a public road.  Engine and gearbox is great though so they\'ll come out and be used for spares.

The 86 is black I just bought it around a month ago and is currently in storage at the person I bought it offs workshop, this car will go back on the road.  The reg number is IJI 8307.

Comber is in County Down, Northern Ireland

Thanks very much. I would like the chassis No. if you don\'t mind, as I\'ve always recorded my own cars and any info is good. I\'ve a guide book which says that the last S3 1st gen car Vin No. ended in 5582, so you can see how near to the end your \'86 car is.

I had A403 UYE, Met Green in 2004. Sold to a German collector who flew to the UK to collect. His parents were personalk friends of ....el.

Now I have C719 CKL, Silver. In superb condition, less than 60,000 miles.

June 1984; Metallic Green, acquired in 2001 & on SORN for last 4 or 5 years with resto starting this year (!)
First registered in Northern Ireland, so presume it has always stayed here through it\'s 8 previous owners.

72 1st Gens now Stuart - A few duplicates came to light when I went to spreadsheet from notebook. They are 52 Series 3, 13 Series 2 and 7 Series 1.
Plus I\'ve now got 2 UK cars been sent completely abroad, 1 to France and 1 to Germany. (Southern Ireland I\'ve included in UK totals). Not all are runners, a few are on SORN, especially if they look like they might make a comeback to roadworthy.
Going well and, as you can see, getting interesting.

Thanks very much for that info.
Here\'s where things get a bit interesting - you can see above in this thread that we\'ve got C713 CKL already, a Red S3. It has to be that your car and C713 started life at the same dealers and were probably on the same cargo ship, if not road transporter.
They\'re both low miles and both seem excellent condition.
(Well I did say just a bit interesting didn\'t I? - I find this sort of backwards vehicle history fascinating!!!).:Snoring

Thanks Dave. Our 1st RX7 was a Series 2 1982, originally registered in Newtownards as PIJ 5940. Then it went to WWA 535Y by the previous owner here in South Yorks
