best bet is to use 10" subs if you still like the back seats and fibre glass

ronut7

i\'ve got 2 8" jl w3\'s,just got them into a sealed box at the back of the boot last nite. gonna put my amps behind the back seat. just th speaker crossovers, power blocks & cap to squeeze in now.

the box goes into the wheel well to get the volume required.

Im not goin to use the boot for anything else but subs and amps. Probably gonna make one removable sub box to completely fill the boot apart from a tiny space to put the amps in. hope fully!

Here you go bud...

Sealed, fibre glass rear enclosure to house 12" sub with component 6" mid and tweeters.

5.5" screen in fibre glass pod over rear boot.

Front door builds (fibre glass) to house 2-ways.

Amp rack built on back side of rear seat (so hidden in void between boot build and seat).

HTH :)

Bear in mind that subs and amps are usually hefty beasts, and you don;t wanna be messing up the perfect 50:50 weight distribution now!! ;)

I know what you mean, however my sub-box fills the whole boot (and can be easily removed as one), however with fibreglass construction it can be easily lifted (its full of air after all, lol).

The amps dont weigh too much either TBH.

Ta bud, shame I never use the screen tho, lol!

The boot build is designed to sound better when the boot is up, for when im parked on a foldy chair with a beer in hand enjoying the show season.  Only prob is the crap weather of the last two years!  Exhaust fumes dont help sometimes tho, lol
