Although i love my fd i just carn\'t shift the yearning for a nice fc egi to replace my boring bmw 328 sport with as a daily driver. I have the bm up for sale and will be looking to buy a solid egi with a good engine as soon as it goes. I will have 1500-2000 to spend is this a realistic ammount or am i kidding myself?

Ah man! You\'ll easily find an EGI for that money! I bought my 1990 Turbo II for 2275! And its prety much a pristeine example with 59000 on the clock (when i bought it anyway)

Your bigest problem will be finding a really nice solid one. With that wedge, paying for it will be no bother!:Thumbs-up

You should be able to get a good EGi for that sort of money - bear in mind that they are very thirsty compared to other rotaries though.

Cool, With regards to fuel consumption i dont really care i get picked up for work in one of the company vans and do around 3-4K a year max in my daily driver so miles per gallon can take a back seat to smiles per hour.

Around 1800-2k normally id say closer to 1800 but it has less than 6 month old 18" wheels and tires on it that have only covred 400 miles and is fully loaded leather and all factory options was a 30k+ car 12 years ago.
