with regards converting to single wiper can you modify what is allready there to go single with just a new arm and some linkege jiggery, or is there a specific kit avalable? Also would it pass an mot as long as the wiper parked to one side or would this be a problem?

there is a single wiper kit on rotary art but i cant afford £100+ on a wiper at the moment and being able to see is kind of a priority!

on a previous car of mine i did convert a twin wiper system to a single wiper using an old citroen ax single wiper system and used bits from both to make the single system,worked very well if your on a tight budget cost around 10 quid and a couple of hours to do.


You may even be able to mount the ax wiper mechinism in the middle of the scuttle pannel but on the car i had befor there was not enough room below the middle of the scuttle pannel to mount the ax one.

without me going outside in the rain does anyone know if the passenger hole is dead center of the screen?

Tony does your single wiper conversion fit in the passenger side wiper hole or off center?
