Anyways, i got over it on the 100mile trip back to Essex.

Having never had to replace the mirror in the mirror im not 100% if it possible.  Is it just a case of getting someone to cut it into the right shape and glueing it on?  I dont fancy have to source another pair of mirrors

dude that is ****ed jsut coz all they can afford is a minni metro (not that there is anything rogn with mini metros if any 1 has 1...............................that would be me) im prety shure one of the guys breaking a car will have 1 mabe even have to goto mazda :S

Although not a good thing to happen might have been a accident as surely someone trying to damage your car would have either scratched it or broken something more expensive?

If you trace around the O/S mirror glass then turn it over you will have the shape of the N/S one.

Then go to Halfords with your mirror shape and get a replacement one  ( they have a rack with loads of different shapes ) , you have enough of the original glass left to stick the replacement over the top with a sticky pad.

This is something l have done a few times over the years to save buying a whole wing mirror.

Because of the fact that the mirror doesnt stick out further than the bodywork im sure it was on purpose.  Too many little f*ckers with fiesta\'s and 50cc scooter down the road who wouldnt leave it alone.

Iwill check out Halfords as soon as i get a chance, in the mean time, anyone know who makes carbon fibre mirrors, and got any pics?

are there any in car cameras you can get that dont completely cane your battery(s)? Its something i thought of when i first ordered all my ICE.

When you say "in car" you mean security cameras or road cameras??

I dont think theres a point in putting security cameras inside the car as if its stolen then you wont know jack, whereas outside de house cameras you can see you they are, just place the camera where its not obvious, or infact put it wheres its in plain view but out of reach?

I am looking at getting a camera set up and security posts in the drive too.............. someday when i get round to it (touch wood)

House camera is a good idea, but when the cars at mine i always feel safe.  Its when i park it anywhere else im worried.
