I\'ve got 3 sizes of wheels to play with on my car none of which clear the caliper. But does it end there, i\'m thinking a 5mm spacer will make it clear 10mm absolute max and consiering they only a tenner i think it\'s worth experimenting.

So these are the sizes i have

17 x 9.5j 42 offset
17 x 9.0j 35 offset
17 x 8.0j 35 offset

I\'ve come out with the combinations
17 x 9.5j 42 offset on the rear
17 x 9.0j 35 offset with 5mm spacer effective 30offset on the front

This means front wheels are out 20mm more than oem and rears 8mm more than stock

Will it be best to space out the rears a little say also 10mm to get is to 18mm more than oem so only 2mm difference.

Any advice???
Arches are rolled by the way.

What calipers have you got on your car then??

Timmy

mazda but they are rz\'s. It\'s litraly just the embosed mazda that touches.

Can\'t you just get a 2mm spacer for the fronts and push the rears out to match or slightly wider..
If you\'d had the arches rolled you\'ve got plenty of room concidering you can fit 8.5\'s on t fronts and 10.5\'s on the rears and they wont touch.

Timmy

I just put some 3mm spacers on the front and 6mm on the back for a test fit.

Front

Bare in mind it\'s got a 255 tyre on which will be changed for a 235.

Rear

This has a 225 on it and will be replaced with a 255 tyre. But was thinking it could possibly have a slightly larger spacer.

any thoughts? On a positive note the 3mm spacer means it clears the caliper now.
