My car lands in the uk tomorrow....at last!

Just have to tell everyone as i\'m dead excited now.

Finnally after an agonizing 5 month wait:rolleyes: , my rx7 finally lands in the uk tomorrow:D

So hopefully in a couple of weeks time, i\'ll be nice and legal and finallyown my dream motor (one of them:D ), my 1993 FD3.

Lets hope its as good as the one pic i have and also that things havnt been pinched from it:confused:

Got some tips for ya if ya don\'t mind

a) check the oil as they put none in mine
b) take some dosh for fuel (also none hehe)
c) if it\'s wet go as slow as a snail
d) get rid of those dam jap tyres asap (nearly lost mine a few times due to them)
e) enjoyyyyyyyyy

Tyres....i know exactly where you are coming from here, my first crx i got imported had shit tyres on it when it arrived, dam, it was a close call whether i made the roadabout or not:eek: , luckily i ended up on a grass verge...phew.

I was thinking taking it real steady until the brakes worked properly again aswell, this time a LOT more carefully in a car with rwd and big horsepower:eek:

hehe I felt like that too mate, until you drive it you will hehe, then you realise what a fantastic handling car it is and how great it feels to get that kick in ya back as it pulls

I take out bloomin pool cars all the time and they feel like they are gonna tip over all the time due to the body roll hehe.

Good to hear it\'s arrived Dan,

I paid for mine back in January from Japan and it\'s still not here!!  Apparently it\'s arriving at Bristol next week.  Ummm.... Doubtful!

Hi Dan

Good news on the car mate, as you know mine arrived in Feb and I was a little nervous about driving it as well, apart from a couple of scary moments shes been fine, just take it easy in the wet or do what I did find a nice big private car park whilst its raining and give it some.

This is a whole differn\'t world to the CRX\'s we used to own and I must add the 7 is the best car a I have ever driven.

I cant wait to see some pics Dan when you get it.
