alright lads, am after doin a trackday at end of jan and was worrying about the sound regs for my car, i have looked and at oulton park it says 105db at 3/4 throttle and due to a db readin today mine is 115.1db.............. oh dear

anyways i am looking at gettin a silenced mid pipe to quieten it down some and was wondering if i was to do this would it affect the map in my car at the minute?

my setup is single tub with straight through midpipe and blitz nurspec backbox at the min,

also will a bung in the backbox reduce it doen by enough?? am guessin not but throught i best ask haha

Work out where the noise meters are and short shift passing them.

i know at castle combe where they are very tight on noise levels they test you before you can go on track, my fd would no way pass :flamed

thats what am afraid of, mine would no way pass either, am after a silenced mid pipe to keep on it really coz av had a few warnings off the rozzers so wanna calm it down before i start gettin fined for it,

if you have a screamer pipe then quietening your main exhaust won\'t help.
