been looking how to correct my negative camber.
found solution but what is the difference between these two?

Super Now Camber Control Sub Link Rod FC3S
and
Super Now Camber Control Main Link FC3S RX-7

do i need both to correct the camber or can i get away with just the sub link rod?

cheers :Thumbs-up

How much neg camber do you have? A little is desirable.

L18M

not sure exactly but its def too much!!
the tyres wear out on the inside and the outside looks new.

I havn\'t got time to search but if you get me a link to the workshop manual I can tell you what the two different bits do. The first one we talked about the other day, lowers and raises the rear subframe to adjust the camber. I\'m not sure where the other bits go but they look like they replace a stock bushing with rosejoints that make them more solid and less giving, need to see a manual to tell where.

im guess i can jus get away wiv using the top link =)
im crap at looking for stuff online haha..
trial and error =p

Rosejoints will make the car sharper and are used in motorsport in general. Road cars you are often better just using polyeurathane bushes because they last longer and dont create noise. If you are adjusting stuff like you are you often don\'t have a choice anyhow.

I\'ve just thought of something. Have you had the toe setup on your car? You seem to have a lot more inner tyre wear problem than most people suffer from? when the tracking (toe) is out it often causes this. Its only £30 ish to get it sorted, remember to tell them the rear needs looking at.

Martiny

Yep, toe-out can cause this problem.

i took fc for the tracking etc to be done. the rears, as it is stock, neither toe or camber can be adjusted.
i didnt kno toe can effect inner wear also. thanks.

funny how others dunt have a prob with camber when they lower their fc.
come think of it when i got the tracking done the fronts were bit toe out.
fc is in garage until tmr so will have a good look under it while its on a ramp to investigate n see if anything is not stock.

Rear toe is done from the adjusting cams on the rear subframe by the looks of it. Its shown here on the last page.

If you print this and take it to your alignement place hopefully they\'ll understand it. Sounds like they arn\'t very experienced. Not a lot of cars these days even have adjustments so its common.

o wow.. thats great =)
cheers =) =) =)

i think these are the same as what you found ( bottom-ish of page ) : http://www.mazdatrix.com/h6_86-92.htm

i had a look under the fc 2day.. n found some adjustable bits.
not sure of the name exactly but its connected to the lower control arm and the sub frame. theres like a washer that can be adjusted. i think that should solve the prob. will take to an old school tracking place who might know sth about it.
hope wont need to buy new link as others dont seem to have the camber prob when they lower their fc.
