Has anyone from here brought anything from www.rx7store.net? They do pretty much anything for rx7s, im looking at getting a greedy elbow which they sell for $130 (£90). I don`t know how much delivery is, i dunno if they even ship to the uk. I`ve been mugged off a few times buying stuff from abroad, and on here! You know who you are!lol.

Yeh used them several times...no issues whatsoever,  although I would make best efforts at the moment to locate what is required nearer home as the shipping costs are painful :2eek

Great, i`ll proboberly buy in bulk then, there`s a few other things that i need that`ll make up for the shipping.

The cost of shipping from the US seems to have risen sharply over the last few years. Prior to the RX7 I spent 2 years restoring a 1980 Corvette and was constantly shipping stuff over.  Shipping costs were regulary in the $20 - $40 bracket for air freight of the smaller items. A few weeks ago I found the  website of a US company that do urethane bushes for roll bar end links, save me spending £100 on new end links I would just change the bushes at a cost of $15 for 4 bushes ( weighing ...what 150 grammes at most ? ), but they quoted me $75 shipping  Needless to say I declined the offer !

Well i found rx7 store to be crap. Shipped quickly little problems there, tho i had a problem with the product and they couldn\'t care less. They have since started ignoring my e-mails. All they offered was i could send it back which was quoted £35ish for postage considering it was only $70 item on a $500 order i don\'t see why they couldn\'t just give me a refund.

Just ordered a high flow cat from my RX8 from these guys.  I\'ve heard nothing but good things.

Bought 2 twinpower and harness from them in September whilst in the states.  I thought they were an excellent company.

You will have to pay postage, Vat and duty from rx7store (being in the states) so will end up being fairly expensive.

Or you could buy from us and save your self a few quid, and a week or two waiting for it to arrive in the post.

We have a few in stock.

They are £102 + VAT
Plus P&P (next day) £8.50

So all in to your door will be £127.08

Greddy. GREDDY!!!!! Not bloody Greedy! :D Not unless it\'s eBay tat!

RX7Store have a good rep in the states but from what i\'ve seen aren\'t that great on international stuff. Their dispatch times are notoriously bad.

I\'ve never actually bought anything from them, but their time taken and vagueness in responses to my queries didn\'t fill me with confidence (and yes smartarses, I knwo theiy\'re in a different time zone :p).

And customs are severely cracking down of late on imported things, you\'d be very lucky to get away without paying duty.

buying anything outside of the uk is likely to get you screwed on the exchange rate tbh...

At £321 for an RX8 cat compared to £1400 for an official Mazda one I\'ll take a delay on delivery!

This is the forex rate.....one that will carry a trading fee, and I doubt it is that good an option for small items bought from shops.  Especially as you have to hand over your credit card details.

Sometimes there is cause to go and look around at companies abroad, however....sometimes it is better to buy British! ;)  Say from us :)

And come on Alex you were supposed to say how easy it was buying one of these Elbows from us!!  Although you did walk out with a set of seats too :D

i have purchased from them before several times but not for a long time.  The main guy there at the time Jason was quite helpful and replied to my emails quite quickly.  The only thing to check is that they have what you want in stock.  I ordered about 6 things at the same time on one order and one bit was out of stock so i was waiting quite a while.
