Do you double declutch (or at least match revs by blipping the throttle with the clutch in as you\'re passing through neutral) when going from 4th to 2nd?

If you\'re running stock power then there is no way you should be going through any clutch in less than 10k miles. As others have said, either you\'ve got a fault somewhere or your driving style doesn\'t agree with the clutch!

Hope you get it sorted,

Chris.

yeh sometimes? surely it can handle a few of these though!?

If you\'re matching revs and generally being smooth, it should be fine... :Thumbs-up

...Which begs the question what else is wrong?

Just my two pence with Exedy "Organic Clutches" my experiance with them in my old Pulsar GTI R, went through two them in the space of two months, the plate themselves wore a heavy but the worse thing that made them fail was the cover plates, poor quality on the metal fingers and springs causing them to warp.
Fair enough get them replaced under warranty me says But Exedy "Europe" didnt want to know or reply to my letters of wanting a replacement or my money back.
The organic clutches are made in Europe not Japan so are of different quality control and really should not be used in any performance type car!
If you going to buy exedy make sure you get the products made in Japan like their twin plate models.
