which of larger tubs would be good for me

rather than clogging up someone elses thread. i`ve started this one. found a rex with WGT street ported engine with only 1500miles on it. now my question is how big can i go turbo wise with this size porting work. i appreciate that a gt42 is gonna be out of the question. i dont dislike lag. i actually enjoy the spool up time :-)

would the gt40 bb work ok. the trim etc im in your hands guys. i`d like it to be knocking out a bar boost by 3800>4000rpm. it not gonna be tracked. its gonna be for the straight and beating mr pete sparrow lol on the way to shows HAH

 your throughts????

would anything bigger thatn the Z need bigger porting

im undesided on what to do. its a good price, dont get me wrong but worried im gonna need more internal engine work. and im paying extra for the fact its has new rebuild

T78 is excellent in relation to oomph and lag...

well there is a single turbo FD with a T51R in black just been put up for sale with a recent rebuild and all the supporting mods and it looks mint at only £8.5K :ekk

T51R bit big though, no boost till like 5000rpm.

Apexi rx6 is a good turbo for low spool up and will max out at about 450bhp @ fly :cheers

The T78 is probably your best bet, brilliant unit.

cmon Gurj you should know better, on a ported motor a T51R starts spooling at around 3.5k, I will give some figures later tonight
