if i hate an n/a i suppose i can always \'upgrade\' to a turbo,but its very tough to take a step back in power if i hate the turbo

by upgrade to a turbo you mean a different car? its hard to turbo the non turbo engines. `most people either buy a TII or transfer pretty much an entire TII into a non turbo.


oh an retro boy, my early post wasnt bad mouthing your car (incase you think i am ). it looks awesome but youve made it look more like an s5 with the lights and colour coding

N/A models CAN look just as good.. with a little modding.. I\'ve made alot of changes to mine looks wise.. To be honest i\'m not interested in tuning the engine.. for me its more the styling. It\'s got a new air filter and exhaust system.. but to be honest if the guy before me hadn\'t installed them then i would never have..

I like to think mine is a good example of how good a N/A model can look.. you are welcome to pop over anytime you want if you need a better look at one.

Where abouts is it you work if you don\'t mind me asking?

it would be good to get a spin in it, been a long time since i owned my FD ! and i could get a feel for the noise, smell and sound of an n/a.

no i meant i\'d sell the n/a and buy a whole new car, the styling appeals to me more :yes

i like projects but thats way too much bother.

Sweet! Another FC in Glasgow! I\'ve got a black 90 Turbo II. But i dont think its ever been outside the butterburn, wheatever that is!:rollin
 
Where in Glasgow are you? If you want to compare a Turbo II FC to an N/A one why not take a look at retro boys and then mine? (I\'m in Bishopton)

Thanks for linking the pics Jimmi. Done some more paint work to the car since those pictures.. also got a new reg plate coming that i ordered a few days ago. Spoiler coming from Ade also (no set date for that yet).. and last but not least getting it lowered.

To be honest ive never heard of the Butterburn either.. haha.. but i\'m not a drinking kinda guy though..

We should all totally have a mini meet. Jimi and Rich get over to Clanjapan.co.uk as it has a lot of local Jap cars.. It\'s Scottish based. Some great cars over there!

Mine\'s is yours for £10k...  I hate posting pictures up as the car is always changing.. one day it will be completely finished though and i will post the most amount of pictures up ever.. that will also be the day it probably breaks down. haha.

i think i need to feel what the n/a is like before making a decision, i tried the fd and turbo 2,s before, never an n/a though :3Confused do you drive it through the winter?
