On the way home today my front wipers seemed to be very underpowered and juddery. Operation was really quite slow and jerky. It did speed up slightly but on all settings it was slower than usual. Do you reckon the motor is on the way out or the switch?
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Spring time. Just it ain\'t happened on any of my other cars that have been of similar age to the REX. Do you reckon it could be just the wiper blades?

The metal arms inside the plastic cover at the bottom of the windscreen probably need oiling, mine did the same so stripped of the cover and fully oiled them and they have been ok since.

You can try what Nicholasnismo has said, but i know on my old peugeot that the wipers were fairly weak and they would slow right down when the blades need changing

You don\'t need to change the wipers usually, just get some vinger on some cloth and wipe them, you will be amazed at how dirty the wipers are lol

Agree with this also - windowlene or vinegar - particularly if you\'ve parked under a sticky tree :Giggle
