Hey people im really starting to get concerned about my car. Ok i had n ot driven it for a bout 9 days, trying to save for xmas and all that, and i started it all as usual and my finger slipped, then i tried again, and ever since all i am getting is the starter motor going.  i will explain im not that machanical! it does not sound like their is no conbustion what so ever, i though i had just flooded it? is this how a rotary behaves after it has been flooded. i have done a bit of reading about deflooding thus far i have just had the pedal flat to the floor while trying to start. where is the EGI fuse? any pictures, should i try a tow start?

PS it has fairly good compression

Please help guys

Take the plugs out and check them, if they are knackered swap them. There are loads of different methods for de-flooding the engine. I like the, leave the plugs out so the petrol evaporates, put the plugs back in and start method. Only used it once but worked fine.

yeah but you will nee a strong battery the other side.

Tow start will be best or get 4 mates to push you down a hill :-)
