Good luck for getting it all back and done ASAP! I\'m STILL waiting for the contracts to be fully exchanged, but getting closer apparently. Can\'t understand how forwarding a piece of paper takes 2 weeks. Maybe they deliver it via an RX-7, which is why they charge me ££££ for every letter i request to be sent, so as to pay the fuel bill!

Anyways, i\'m hoping that it\'ll happen before i\'ve knawed my arm off in frustration...or else i may need to opt for an auto! :rollin

And cheers for the info, Richard! Another little note to scribble down in case a topic like this surfaces again. By the way, did you import the car personally? Or through a dealer? Or did you get it privately after it\'d been imported? And do you think i could have phrased that any worse?!

The car was gleaming, rotating on a turnstile inside a dealer showroom. That dealership has now sadly gone bust, I heard that the proprietor had an unfortunate car accident, killed some people as a result, and ended up at her majestys pleasure.

It was one of those moments when no matter what it cost, and boy did it cost, I had to have it.  I did a deal wherby if Rotechniks passed it as ok, I would buy it, if they failed it then the dealer got the report for free.

Three hours and a lot of testing later the deal was done, and I drove it away the following weekend.

I had no idea what I had bought, it just seemed to be destiny and that was the beginning.

This was all in 1998, it\'s been a long road since then.

Wow. I can imagine how impressive it must have looked spinning there before your very eyes! No wonder you felt obliged to reach for the wallet. Sure it was money well spent.

Just looking for as many stories as poss before i\'m finally in a position to buy my own...thinking that asking Miguel/Brian/Ben to source me one might be best, it pretty much eliminates the chance of picking up an unhealthy rex as they know exactly what they\'re looking for. Of course, it\'s also the longest way...but i\'ve already been waiting a few months for the sale of a property of mine to go through (hence the mind-numbing delay) so another few won\'t hurt!

Know what you mean about work too...luckily i\'m in my own lil corner so it\'s not too bad, and besides it keeps me in high spirits throughout the day!
