Rough Idle+ Stalling

Right recently my fd has been hard to start and when i did get it started if ran really rough. So i changed the plugs hoping that they were the problem.Now it starts a bit easier but still runs rough.Very lumpy idle.when i drive it i get loads of backfire and when i put it in neutral it just dies.Only seems to die when the a/c is on?
 
Anyone have any ideas whats wrong/how to fix it?

First thing to do is a compression test to see if the engine is healthy.
If that is fine then it could be a number of things,but start with that.
