"Flash to pass" light ports

How many of you guys just take these out and run without them.
 
Only reason i ask is because one of mine keeps steaming up and the others bolts have come away from the plastic housing. Both easy enough fixes so i took em both out to do just that.
 
Only...... i\'m kind of liking the look without them. GOOD TIMES!
 
My only worry is water and dirt and all manor of **** getting in there and rusting the metal parts. BAD TIMES!
 
I see sooooo many pics of dorifto monsters and track attackers without them but they dont have to go through rigourous driving rain and salted roads! I use mine as my daily driver.
 
So is it a good idea to leave them out of should i fix em and plug them back in?

id suggest putting them back in, for winter at least.

probs not to bad in summer, but i can imagine having them out will slowly ruin your car

Still, easy to fix them up and pop em back in.

Well I have a few spare sets and was going to copy the shape of the front cover and make it into a vent of some sort with a mesh to stop the stones and stuff getting through. I\'ll have a play and see what happens.
