Just installed he RB complete Holley 465cfm set and RB exhaust with headers in my 1st gen 12a non ported.
Great result on dyno. It was 106KM and now it is 137KM !!
But.... it runs well on high rpm but if you accelerate more gently it hesitetes and goes roughly between 2000-3000rpm.
Ignition checked (3 BTDC)
 
ANY IDEAS ??

IS that under partial throttle or full throttle?

Whats it like under wide open throttle?

Does it have the vacuum sense on it for the dizzy ? Could be getting a false signal and adjusting the timing. Mine got run open to atmosphere with my current throttle body. Means more fuel because its constantly in full vacuum position. Pip just said it wasn\'t an issue and he usually had it like that on his race car but it drank more juice.

vacum ,etc. connected acording to RB manual given with Holley set.
 
Yes on full throttle it is fantastic ! only when try to ride gently it shakes at around 2500-3000rpm

Have you checked you J109 (ignition amp) ?
