Is there a company that could take my car to a specialist (trailored)?

Hi guys,

Curious if there\'s a company out there that would take the car to a specialist. Either Jurgen in Newcastle, or somewhere like lindop (sp) or WGT.

I\'m gonna have a good look over the car tomorrow. If I don\'t get anywhere, obviously a specialist would be able to diagnose any problem quickly.

If there is a serious problem, I\'ll take the car back and get the engine out (brings back memorys!!), then take it apart myself.

I\'m based in the borders in scotland.

there is quite a few specialist in the UK but most are down south. nearest to you are WGT, Lindop and another in chester area, carnt remember the guys name, he works out of his garage.

There is a guy called Marc from "The Garage" in Scotland he has worked on several RX7\'s wold be a lot closer if its just for diagnostics.

No offence to anyone. But I\'ve been told to stay clear of the Garage?!

I have had ups and downs with The Garage, used to use them alot but find that their strengths don\'t lie in diagnostics for the FD. Great guys tho and cant fault the service from them, if you know what needs done.

I would highly recommend WGT for diagnostics, although expect to pay for it..and maybe wait a wee while but they would only be a few hours from you.

Yes Mate A tralored collection and delivery service is something that can be done for you @ Lindop Motorsport. Ben should give you a call later on and sort this out for ya. ive just left him a message on his phone.

Don\'t make the mistake I did and use the AA. I was advised to use them as a relatively cheap way to get my car trailered to Re:Worx and upon collection, first of all they sent a lorry that couldn\'t handle a low car, secondly they sent a lower one who proceeded to drop the car and damage my freshly finished custom pearl respray in a number of places.

They\'ve admitted liability, but I can feel a fight coming on when they realise they need to pay for an entire respray due to the nature of the paint (panel matching, etc).
