Wanted: PFC base map for large streetport

i\'m lookin for a PFC base map for my large streetport 13B.

Still on OEM injectors, full non seq turbo conversion and HKS twin power, Trust 80mm DP.

Currently not running any boost (rebuilt engine)

Do you have a wideband to tweek the fuelling afterwards?
You can try //www.rx7club.com there is an Apexi forum where you might get a free of charge one. Also there is a document on how to tune the Apexi via the datalogit by Wargasim,  I have my own base maps for different setups but I would charge you Im afraid.

I have an innovative LC1 wideband hooked up to the PFC.

I found an Excell doc on the Datalogit forum. it has Wargasms data in it as well.

My car is overly rich so it seems and when using the Excell file, it adjusts so much that it\'s completely off :-)

My wideband is reading AFR\'s between 2 and 7/8...

yes you have to remember Wargasms data is for a single turbo so would be too rich for twins.

Can you tell me again what AFRS you are getting? 2 and 7/8s does not make sense lol

Well my engine is currently breaking in. (250kms done)

I did the idle learn sequence when it first fired up.

So about a week ago I hooked up the LC1 innovative WB kit. Programmed the settings acc. the manual for 13B that can be found on Innovative\'s website.

Took the car for a run and it was reading AFR\'s in the 5:1 to 8:1 (air:fuel) field.
which is overly rich.

I hooked up the DB gauge the day after but only got to test it when the car was stationary. It was reading somewhere at 8.5:1 but not moving fast... I had expected it to be going up and down when reving.

the car is also guzzling fuel so that seems to be right:).


Something additional...

Strange thing is that I can rev the engine stationary to any rev I want, when i drive it, I can go up the revs no problem..
But when I hit 4th or 5th gear is doesn\'t go above 4000rpm. Though, when I step on the clutch and rev the engin, there is no problem..

wow 8.5:1 !!!!!!!! no wonder its drinking fuel.

You need to highlight the fuel map (datalogit) and take 10 percent fuel out to begin with.

Rough safe Target afrs for idle 13:1 to 13:5, cruise 13:1 to 15:1, on boost below 1 BAR approx 11:1

well that\'s basically why I need a base map to start off with.. or someone helping me get on the way.

I\'m quite sure of what I\'m doing but I just need some help to get starteD

I\'ll post the excell doc I have tonight for anybody else who wants to use it.
Basically you paste in your WB log map, you chose in another tab the target AFR\'s you\'re looking for (AFR maps base, power, lean,...)
It then recalculates an injector correction map.

You put that correction map in FC Edit, recalculated the base map and then paste the new base map back into the Excell file.
Then it makes a graph so you can check the adjustments.

You can then still change things which were unlogical.

After your done, paste it again to the base map grid in the FC-Edit programmand load it into the ECU.
