I\'m following the great guide on fduk to modify my runners

http://www.fduk.org/forum/showthread.php?t=4170&highlight=modify+seat

But being the idiot I am, I\'m stuck on the last part :Hammer

I\'ve got rid of the rivvet with the grinder and I\'ve drilled out the dimple above it in the pics. The bit I\'m stuck on is where the wood template comes out.

Am I right in thinking you just need to drill a hole where the rivvet once was ? And if so does this have to be mm perfect ? If so I\'m thinking maybe I should have made my wood template before I made mincemeat of the rivvet with the grinder ?

Thanks to anyone who feels like pointing an idiot iun the right direction..:Thumbsup!

I can\'t belive that guide I wrote ages ago is still going, I only used the woodedn template to make sure it lined up and didn\'t wander of course, you can always use a centre punch and work up the drill bit sizes.

Ah thanks Allstar ! Sorry would have PM\'d you but wasnt sure you were on here.

So the hole doesnt have to be mm perfect just to line up with the hole you drive on the other side ?

Thanks

Nah doesn\'t have to be mm perfect mate, just had to eliminate the bump on the other side.
