well, dont think its v fair to keep the car at pip\'s when he aint gettin any money from it so i think it would be best sorted soon......................although if any one wants to make me a better offer then you are more than welcome:D  just bear in mind that you have to add an hour or so of pip\'s time to any offer made and the car is to be collected from wgt, while the money needs to be brought to bham!

pain in the arse or what!

nice idea, the only problem is my car is at pip\'s!
so unless i can ride up the motorway on my push bike, this is the way it needs to be. and i really would prefer cash to be honest. can meet you at j2 of the m5 if thats any help. once you get on m6 up there, its a straight road down to the m5. its the best i can do unfortuantely.

Si (trying to decide if necessary is letting them eat my dust or putting car in their name.... lol)

sorry to step in on this convo guys but surely the money direct into your account is as good as cash??? as for the documents, i posted mine to the dealer as soon as his cheque cleared, hed already taken the car so everything was ok. i dont see a problem to be honest but it all depends on how much you trust eachother i guess.
There are performance cars and then there is the RX-7...........

12.3 second 1/4 mile, terminal speed of 122mph (1st ever drag run on a TO4R)

engine built by....... umm me! now powered by a T51 Kai......

J4P RX

Yup seems simple to me - pay by bank transfer, money straight into account.  It cant be taken back out.

Then just post them the documents.

berkisking

ok ok ok...............geez.
cash is king, but if its a bank transfer then ok. but i keep the docs till the money is cleared, and obviously pip aint gonna let you take the car without my say so. so thats that then

i dont know if this would work - pip pays you £400 for the car - and we pay Pip

this way he keeps your car if we dont pay and every one is happy ?

does that make it all a bit safer ?

not sure if pip would go for that  - but i could be worth a try ?

again let me know what you think

Stu & Sean

nah, ill just call pip and tell him not to release the car to you till i call up and say. that way as soon as the money is in i call him say its cool, then i call you say its all good, then you collect car and wait for the docs to arrive. ill send them reg post if you like.

Sorry Stu, didnt realise u had first refusal? thought the guy just wanted cash for it!!

I was willing to pay what i thought the car was worth to me i.e. more than likely more than you, which was why I was asking if it had to be resolved TODAY as I\'m in and out of the office and as expected havent been able to reply in time...

Done deal by the looks of things so no probs.
