2008 RX-7 Rear Badges

Well after a slightly overzealous chap at the valet centre destroyed my rear RX7 badge, I\'ve been meaning to get it replaced. Thanks to Mazda broadening their range with the CX-7 SUV, I\'ve been able to update the look a bit.

Take one RX-8 badge:



...and one CX-7 badge:



Remove the C and X, replace with the RX so the blue foamy bit lines it all up, et voila:

Dunno if it\'s been done before, or how it\'ll look on the car (as mine\'s in WGT at the moment) but figured some of you might be interested.

do you have lots of 99 spec parts too?

No mate, has the updated rear lights, rest of it is normal 97 spec.





(only decent recent rear pic I have)

99 front is on the "to do but not urgently" list, needs some paintwork doing and new wheels, not to mention the abortion that is the rear foglight sorting out. That\'s a new bumper job I reckon though, so will wait for that before sticking the new badges on.

I don\'t have it at the moment, leaving for Germany again on Sunday and will be Xmas before I\'m back in the UK and can play with her again

Thats a lovely rear spoiler, FEED one right? we have one coming from japland but ive never seen it on the car, looks awesome

Aerofiber version of the FEED Type II adjustable. Brilliant bit of kit, only a couple in the UK too from what I can gather, I only know of one other guy (White FD) with one.

Where is this? I know its outside WGT but i looks exactly like a place i went to a few times just outside Horsham also :confused:

Thats a top idea might nick the badge off the back from the wifes RX8 but i don\'t think she would like that!!!!!
