Guy\'s been looking at clutches.. I am only planning to run up to around 450 bhp but gather I need an upgrade. I have seen you can pick up 6 puck clutches at a pretty good price. Will these be an absolute nightmare for driving around town? i.e. two on and off? what other options do I have for this sort of power/torque band?
Thank you

If you\'ve got the money then I can recommend the Exedy Hyper Carbon Dcore twin plate. Almost stock feel and not too noisy either.

I cannot afford an new OS giken.. if someone has a good secondhand one possibly!
Karl try looking on ebay USA if you don\'t mind an on off clutch! Ithere are plenty of 6 puck ones on there at a good prices. Depending on what power you want to run they also have some heavy duty single plates. If you end up getting a 6 puck let me know as I may have to go that route purely for cost!

running a carbon twin plate as its got the feel of a stock clutch but can take any amount of power you can chuck at it

AtomicRex

We have some Exedy twin plates in stock at the moment.

gandyRX

im running a twin plate dry clutch at the moment, its a bit of hassle driving round town but youll get used to it, but off the line and drifting its quite good

karl_tate

chris and rob what kind of power are you running on your cars??

also how much did you pay for them??

atomic, how much are the exedy one\'s?? although i dont think i can stretch to afford an twin plate :(
