Right, I\'ve been on and around this forum for a good few years now but as you can see from my post count, I don\'t get on here often enough :(

Anyhow, I thought that while my car was fresh from the bodyshop, I would post up a few quick snaps. These pics were taken just a few minutes after I returned home after picking the car up from the bodyshop. I got a bit trigger happy on the RE-A website lol :D:D:D

Before I get into the car and stuff, I just want to say an almighty thanks to the fine chaps at Re:worx and in particular to Simon Hartshorn who runs the conveniently placed bodyshop (2-Pac\'s) next door to Re:worx. I can\'t recommend Simon highly enough; his dedication, attention to detail and workmanship are first class and hopefully you\'ll get an idea from the pics below. I\'m really pleased with how Simon has got the kit to fit in terms of shutlines etc.. and the paintwork is better than from the factory. It really is a class job.

I should point out that the car is not finished yet - not sure if it will it ever be!!! I\'ve got another set of rims on the slow boat from Japan to fill out the arches fully, but hopefully you\'ll get the idea.

Brief spec of the car is streetported with GT35R turbo, around 350RWHP, Re:worx v-mount, Tein suspension, Poly bushes, Racing Beat roll bars, K-Sport 356mm brake kit and I can\'t be bothered to type any more mods :Talking1

I know it\'s not the purists choice but I hope you like it anyway :)

That looks lovely mate :god Love the RE-A kit.
Why you changing the wheels? You not like the Volks ones?

Amazing car there !!!!

Really really nice !!!

Yeah wider wheels would suit the kit better.

Simply one of the best cars round at the mo. Any pics of the enginebay ?

BenLewisMav

Ah I wondered who\'s car this was when I was having a look around in 2pacs whilst getting my car mapped! Mind you it was only at the start of the work then and maybe have had a different front bumper in gel?
Looks good though, another one for the GT-AD I see!
Also would love some of those headlights.. did you pay the (high!) price?

ENVYD

i want your car :(

if not stock, its one of the ways the FD should look!

very nice :)

Mattie

Thanks for the positive comments guys :)

I haven\'t got any up to date engine bay pics and it\'s a bit dusty under there at the mo lol! Once it\'s had a clean I\'ll put some up.

The wheels were on the car when I bought it. Lots of people like them but there not completely to my taste. Having said that, I think they do go well with this kit and it is tempting to just space them out. I ordered some new wheels to get the right offsets etc...

Yes, I did pay the high price, not just for the headlights  Everything on the car is genuine, original parts except the diffuser which is a Sanai copy.

Love that. Best looking FD in the UK imho. Good work you must be very pleased with it :King

Morrmat

i also saw this at reworx when i was there a few weeks back! where did you get the rear spoiler from as i\'ve been after one for ages! New wheels to fill the archs are a defo!

Lovely car!

karl_tate

i will happily take your current ones from you :D

Really nice looking car. I love the Volks, but I agree that they look a little too small for the kit.

monkey-fd3s

That looks ace... well done on the hard work :)

gavin c

wow that is fantastic.

Getting this wing was a bit of a nightmare. It\'s a FEED one and I couldn\'t find anyone in the UK with reliable contact with FEED. Luckily the company I work for has an office in Yokohama and so I managed to convince a guy that works there to contact them direct for me :Giggle

Still when the wing finally turned up, they had only sent me the aerofoil section with no supports or fittings :eek It was a bit of a job to get the supports!

Believe it or not, I had the same wing on this car before but on non-FEED supports. I\'ve still got the old wing but it\'s looking a bit second hand.

The headlights were also a pain because these ones have got the uprated lamp units but originally they sent me the standard ones! Another drawn out saga :2Rolleyes

If I\'m happy with the new wheels, the Volks will probably go up for sale :)

mattywhitt

Cool, very nice. What are the new wheels you are getting? And what size?

Jit

Ill happily take ur old aerofoil section off ur hands dude! :)
