Hmm well it seems they either need rebuilding, or changing lol does anyone know if FD disks will fit?

I\'m not 100% sure but I think FD disks wont fit the FC. You could check by measuring the disk bell (measure the depth from the face your wheels mount onto. to the disk surface) If they are the same measurement as your FC disks then your one step closer to getting them on. If they differ (which I think they do) then they wont.:Thumbs-up

But the FD calipers will fit, but not the disks? What are the advantages to the FD calipers? im guessing they are 4 pot the same as the FC

Quote from: grinder;540563but my rears did that - and they are only single piston ??? ( just to throw a spanner in the works !! )

So did mine on one side - it was the upper swing bolt that was siezed - so the caliper could only compress in at the bottom

If I remember correctly... FC FD disks share similar diamentions its the bells that differ. Advantages for the FDs are rigidity hence less caliper flex and more braking power. I think they may have a larger pad area or bigger pistons.

There are bigger clearances on the FD calipers which apparantley makes them less likely to cause you bothers!

I saw a set of Mitsubishi calipers off a GTO and they look very similar. I will take a standard set and do some comparing. Not sure if they are better but it might open the door to see what else fits.  I did read on RX7club that someone got a set of Evo calipers to fit with very little work, almost fell on.

No nothing yet, be nice to find something that will slot straight on. I think for us its a case to see what those chaps across the pond do, keep us posted if you find anything.
