Quote from: adereed;523368My best run was against Shaun in his FD this year. A 14.38 @ 100.01 and a 60ft of 2.28. I was hoping for 13\'s this year but it didn\'t happen :( although I am now a member of the 100 mph club so im happy for now :). Next year Shaun I\'ll have you!

Nice work there :D - I wasn\'t even in the running this time - best was a 16.3 - I\'m blaming the eManage as I got 15.5 at Japshow - any more modding and I\'ll be going backwards :rollin

Quote from: mpk490p;511687i will be happy to get mid 15\'s before the 48IDA goes on, had a few more mods since my run last year at RS, might run at retro show but i dont think the 48 will be on the car for RS this year, should be for Jap Show Oct:Giggle

Mark

Managed a 15.83 at RS5 so its getting there :D
Dave there was a strong head wind too which might explan you better times last outting

Thanks. I saw you running towards the end of the day. You seemed to be struggling to get off the line. Like you were bogging down or something. Can you set the eManage up so that you can come on boost sooner to help?
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Mine only got a 15.04 at japshow, but the air filter was partly blocked so I will have to try again with a better intercooler :D

Was head winds at JapShow as well - so I suspect that the eManage is somehow sapping power in the mid range - I\'m going to start logging the ignition timing and see if it advances / retards in the places it should.  I could feel the power begin to kick in right at the end of the rev range - but then I had to change gear :2Rolleyes - it spooled faster after I\'d altered settings on the boost controller for Japshow - and those are still in place - so since the only thing that\'s changed is running injector and ignition through the eManage now - it has to be that.

last year i managed a 14.1 @ 99mph at the pod and dyno showed 220 bhp on a stock JDM TII apart from bolt-ons exahuast, induction kit and coilovers.

I admitt i was launching at a silly 5500rpm to do it...the the best thing for a clutch lol

m1tch

I just ran a 14.8 @ 93mph at a RWYB day on my stock FC

m1tch

Now running 14.2 @ 99.02 mph @ 0.6 bar of boost at Japshow, light modding :)

TiddlesRX7

I can\'t wait to see what I can run now. I have run 14.1 @ 98.something but I have also run 14.3 @ 103mph so im not really sure what to expect this year.

Can\'t wait to put the new rad in so that I can increase the boost to what its mapped for :D

Mark stole my T2 and ran a 12.7 at 115mph at the jap show.

Quite chuffed with that

ooh.. whats the spec on ur TII?? :D
2 doritos on a stick woohoo :rollin

vixpy1

T78 at 1 bar, caged with no interior lol.

We built it for track work, but I rarely get to track it. Mark\'s rex is in bits so I lent him the T2.

Skifledanabit

My best run was 15.98 at 84.39mph yesterday at Santa Pod

That\'s not a bad time for an EGI - well done :)

I could only manage a piffling 15.4 @ 94 mph - all my other runs were low 16\'s.  Boost comes on late, start is very poor (driver) but it comes on strong at the top end so it\'s getting there.  Running 12-13 psi boost for those runs :driving
