Folks, just wondered what route people had taken when fitting 99 spec bumper light units?

The bulb holders are different to the pre 99 versions. I was considering just chopping the existing connectors off and using spade connectors, but it seems a bit of a bodge.

I also wondered if the little looms for the sidelights use the same main connector over both releases. If they do then I could just buy 99 spec looms to fit them.

So whats everyone else done out there?

When I fitted a 99 spec bumper to my 92 car the light position foul’s the fibre glass inner bumper/crash beam I extended the holes in the inner but you could just cut the ends off completely.

Thanks for the reply, but its the bulb/electrical connection Im intrested in peoples solutions to. Ive removed the bumper bar entirely so Im not struggling for physical room.
