Hi guys

Picking up my fd tomorrow after work, cant wait, feel like a kid at christmas.  Anyways was wondering if anyone on here is from the yorkshire area or knows of any DECENT garages that service rotary engines in the area.  I live in east yorkshire but with good access to the north, south and west.  Just dont fancy driving to london everytime I want a service LOL

Appreciate the help fellas.

Hiya Madonminis,
Welcome, I\'m near Wakefield and travel to WGT, its only 1.5 hours with reasonable weekend traffic. Pip is a great source of advice and services.

Where are you, not many of us in this area.

Yep, I\'m in Lincolnshire but take mine to WGT. :)

If your just after servicing then DIY the RX is just like any other car or if you really need a garage to do it any local can do the plugs, filters & oil.

General service can be done by a decent performance garage tbh, anything to do with the actual running with or issues with the engine go to a specialist :Giggle

Both my old rx\'s were services locally by the mechanic who specialises in Evo\'s - no issues.

DIY stuff you\'re best doing yourself, if you use a good garage make sure they know what they\'re dealing with and don\'t let them touch it if they\'re unsure.

I\'m in Sheffield but still drive all the way down to Carl Hayward in Newbury :)

yeah - same here...do the DIY stuff (oil, filter, plugs etc) myself. Take her over to Pip at WGT for the hard stuff.

I\'m in Hull and i\'ll be taking her over to get MOT\'d in a few weeks when I get back from Ibiza...feel free to head over with me if you fancy?? I still need to get it booked up but looking at middle of Oct? Only takes about an hour and a wee bit to get there (less if we leave early doors!! ;) )
Work hard, play hard house :D

Or buy the stuff and ask someone to help show you how to diy and then you are ok for the next time ??
