I built my Turbo S1 RX7 with a 12A Turbo, sourced out of a HB cosmo. 1000cc injectors, non intercooled, never got to dyno it, but it used to do this!!!!:eek:eek:eek

Hi,

Thanks for your advice guys, next question rough cost,

Iam going to keep the standard gearbox if it can cope,

Thanks again for your advice,

You can pick up a cheap TII from ebay for peanuts this will be your cheapest way forward use what you need then sell on whatevers left. Assuming you\'ve enough room to store 2 cars whilst doing the swap that is. Price will depend how lucky you are on bidding but rotten cars are going for a few hundred quid.

buy a scond hand microtech if you can find one and i wouldnt be shy of suggesting a warrantied second hand motor either. i think that archbish got his from rx motors for a really good price, give them a ring they are excellent to deal with.
and your wiring loom should be fine i think with minimal mods to it.
 cheers, michael.

My egi Engine came from Tim and it wasn\'t an expensive purchase. If you are going to do the conversion buy a TII engine (4 port) even if your thinking of N/A. Gives you more options if you decide to slap a turbo on. The 6 port Egi engines are much harder to turbo.

In theory you could use the ecu out of a doner 2nd gen if your keeping it close to stock too !
