Quote from: Matt_K;526059What he has is perfectly legal :) Wheels can stick as far out as they want, as long as the tread isn\'t visable from the top (i.e is covered by the arch, which it is)

sorry.. my bad.. technicalities lol
2 doritos on a stick woohoo :rollin

are you like??

I\'ll try, but the best available to me is an et8 :(
Nothing a spcer won\'t solve.
Negatives on stock body = man fitment.

Problem is they\'re only 8j\'s, so slightly less prominent than EnvyD\'s :(

philiwily

How is the steering with these offsets? Do you get any tram railing or the likes?
Phil.

ENVYD

Here we go, contentious post... :D

Tramlining rumours about low offsets are predominantly spread by fitment haters who run 9j et45\'s allround because it\'s easy, and that\'s what everyone told them to do..

It\'s predominantly geometry and tyre width that cause tramlining ime. Although i speak for predominantly road use :)

Why spoil good wheels by hiding them in the arch. Have you got a lowrider? nope.
Never had any problems, neither have any of the people i know running man fitment wheels.
As as for the rubbing that people often comment on - yeah, if you run et5 9j\'s on stock arches with 265\'s, you\'ll probably get rubbing. A small amount of arch work and careful tyre selection and it\'s often solveable. Although it depends on just how badical your wheels are.
