had been running it on 97 plus octane booster was told this would be fine..ill see what hppens ater Glen takes a look at it...tbh wouldnt be arsed with rebuilds etc and spending loads of money to repair so if its looking like that the car will ahve to be broke ..pity i know but im fed up with spending evry last penny i have on cars....

aftr looking into it a bit closer,its seems the vacumm hose as snapped off the map sensor and was dangling about ..as its snapped i assume ill need a replacement..anyone kno where id get my hands on one?? hopefully that will solve the ****ty idleing i hope!

As said mate any piece of vacume hose will do the job, there may be enough excess on the vacum hose to the dump valve to cut a small piece off & use that?

no the hose has broke off from the map sensor all together with the connecting nozzle thingy snapped and stuck in the hose..sourced a new one yesterday which aint toooo bad....

bit of an update.......turns out i completely blew the map sesnor off requiring a new one,had a water pipe,and fuel line that were split,my ecu has gone faulty causing a suspect faulty injector driver contoller....so was just a small thing.....prrrfffpppp...
at least ive  my new silenced midpipe fitted which has made the car a bit quieter.....
