exactly as the title sais.
when pulling off theres no power and a 1.3 micra can beat me at the start line until i hit around 3k revs n the turbo kicks in then i fly.
anyone for ideas?
last tested compression in march n it gave even results about 6.5 all round.
i have no ideas about these things.

thanks in advance

Are you sure your in the right gear? if you get court out at low rpm\'s in too higher gear you\'ll bog down. Dropping it a couple of cogs usually helps :)
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

is yours a twin mate? if so have a look at your boost guage to see if your primary turbo is spooling

I dunno then. How does it run at low rpm\'s? maybe you\'ve got a week spark for some reason and it clears itself as it rises in rpm. Think I would investigate that route first. New plugs maybe some leads. You can check the resistance of the plug leads first and that will give you an indication if one of the has broken down slightly.

Low to mid power loss could be down to Fuel pump/fuel pump resistor, overfuelling at lower rpm\'s, timing could be out, plugs, alternator / electrics / ecu / a sensor out somewhere.

Probably worth checking for ECU fault codes see if there is anything showing up,

thanks for the reply. i 4t maybe timing cos sometimes when i change down the exhaust pops but then that could bt the air

are the lead and trailing leads the same?
if so i may try swapping the leads for a start.

i kno the coil gives gd sparks as this was tested in feb aft i brought the car n took it to haywards for some trouble shooting.

anyone kno where i can get the timing checked out around london / middlesex area?
you prob all kno i got about 0.01% mechanical knoledge lol

I would change the plugs, change the air filter and change the oil and see what happens, also check around for any loose wires or hoses, perhaps check the back of the engine where the intercooler attaches to the engine?

how do you check for ecu fault codes?
