defi guage problems :-(

hi, right i brought some defi gauges from someone breaking a rx, iv installed everything wired from the controller to the boost gauge, out the boost and into the oil temp, pessure and water temp that are in a pod. only problem is went to fire them up and the boost guage only lit up on the last 1/4 with no flashing ov the red led, the other 3 let and keept flashing and the controller is just beeping, first thoughts would be the boost gauge is no good but could this be a problem with the daisy chain wires as i wouldnt expect all gauges to stop working if one of them was no good?? any ideas idealy if some one close to me would be kind enough to let me come round :burnout and try there boost guage in my car to see if they work :cheers:cheers any way anyone got any ideas?? cheers dave

Just hook each gauge up one at a time to the controller and ensure all the sensors are plugged in for the gauges you have connected otherwise the red light will flash.

right only just had time to have a further look at the guages, took out the oil temp sensor and that stopped the controller bleeping and making the error noise, but the boost guage still only 1/4 lit with no red light or reading and the other 3 still just flashing on the red light and not reading anything really hopeing im not going to have to buy a new boost guage. anyone got any ideaim thinking need a new oli temp sendor and boost guage??

As already said, diagnose them one at a time. Make sure you\'ve checked absolutely everything on each one, one at a time before deciding to bin them.
