Anyone ever done this to their engine, what might the pitfalls be and experiences on miles/timescales before fault/tips are worn down enough that the problem is resolved ?

...and of course any horror stories or would you just replace them? :2eek

How do you know your seals are warped ?
Would have thought that if they are warped you would see bad sealing hence poor starting, flooding etc. If you know they are warped then sooner you get it sorted the better as they will not last forever like that and you could end up doing far more damage to the internals and costing a packet to repair when they do let go.

yes bad starting when hot but, dynoed and giving the same power as before warping....though they were chipped. Was difficult to tell as on a bridgeport and now looking for the beast long term solution.

Wouldn\'t it be a false economy to keep driving on them? I mean if you damage the rotor housings or rotors part a certain point they will need replacing, so I guess if you drive more its going to mess stuff up more within the engine meaning that when it does go, then you are gonna have a much bigger bill then if you sorted it now.

Yes this is my concern and am going to find a quote for tip replacement - Thanks Guys :Thumbsup!
