Stupid Question.

My first RX, in fact my first car that isn\'t a Vauxhall Nova!! So what kind of engine oil is best for the RX ? Not sure if the Rotary uses the same as the ohc set up i\'m used too ?

Hi Ben.
Most people use a mineral oil, as it burns cleaner. I just use Castrol GTX.

Same here - Castrol GTX 10w/40 mineral oil. However, if you search through these threads you will find many people have different opinions on which oil to use. Mazda have recommended that only mineral oil is used, yet others have been using synthetic oils with no problems. One of those questions that seems to open a can of worms lol..
