Okay guys finally finished my throttle body modifications and got it all back today and assembled it all i can say is im so happy with the way it turned out
final results are
primary butterfly 45 upto 50mm
secondry 50 upto 55mm
so over all each butterfly is 5mm biger
if you look at the feed or knightsports ones they are only 3mm bigger mine are 5
i can now reproduce these so if your interested pm me

are you planning on doing any comparison on the rollers?

NVMYRE

#3
well the car is always on the rollers but i mean look really what happens when you make your ports bigger in the engine does it make less power ...
and say for example if you ran 18psi through normal tb then 18psi through modified tb what would flow more ...its the same as bigger exhaust and extrude honing out your inlet manifolds to get more air flow through the engine and remove all the elements that might cause restriction
my car isnt really a good test bench to use though way too many modifications but im sure i can find one to do back to back tests with i will post up my old dyno results and my new ones once i put the throttle body on and get it on the dyno ....
what this offers you is a way of having larger intake without switching to a single larger throttle body so keeps it looking standard and keeps all your original equiptment  and makes more flow cant be a bad thing even feed and knightsports offer oversize throttle bodies just theirs are 3mm bigger and 700 dollars mine is 5 mm bigger and like 400 dollars

but i will keep you all updated as we proceed with this and get the results on paper

Interested on your thoughts on modulation - I\'ve friends who have increased TB size and then gone back to stock, as they weren\'t keen on the way it affected fine control of the throttle.

NVMYRE

well in all honesty depends
also did they increase the standard throttle body or move to a big single style throttle body as that will make a huge difference
but there is only one way of throttle modulation and that is the right foot
you might sacrifice a small amount for a larger gain though as stated its about increasing your top end performance and overall response under boost would be greater as you would know the rotor is basicly an air pump the more air you can get in the better ......
i think it would make the car more aggressive and more powerful i would sacrifice a bit of low down for a lot of top end ....

but like i said i will do some tests and see the results .. but the same as making your ports bigger reduces your low down response but frees up so much more mid to top end
