I need a little help with sourcing parts....

Hello again been a while...

Right i get the car back on the road on or around tuesday as soon as i get the tax disc in, She has a years ticket and now freshly insured and i want to enjoy the car as much as possible. As she managed to get through the MoT without a single advisory i want to work on the aesthetics of the car.

I need the following items but i don\'t know where to get them.

1) Weather strip for the drivers side window as mine is well gone!!!
2) Drivers door trim
3) ideally i\'d like a new sunroof as mines rusty.

So any ideas?

Im going to spend sunday t cutting the car so she will look dam good again.

Best bet is to start having a look around the scrap yards and calling the usual suspects (Jimmy\'s or RX motors)

which bit of the drivers door trim do you need, take it this is the colour coded strip half way down the door?
The weather strips I assume are the bits that sit on the door ledge and bridge the gap between that and the window. I have rarely seen one thats not gone, they are plastic coated but will remove easy enough if you wish to rub them down and spray them up. It might be the way I am going with mine.

The drivers side door weatherstrip piece is item number FB01-58-810 But they are very expensive new in the UK (usually twice the price of the US/Japan) or you can do as monte suggests and get them from the US for just over $50 a peice.

Ah thanks guys appreciate the help. PdTaylor i actually had that idea yesterday (great minds and all that) so i\'m going to give that a go today.

Well spent the afternoon cleaning the EGI and i must say she came up a treat. I especially like the exhaust tips...I have never done it before (except on the stag) but i thought i might put some metal polish on the tips and they are now chrome again...AWESOME!! really does set the car off.
