Headlight/Sidelight alarm?

Silly question guys sorry, but are FD\'s supposed to have an alarm which tells you that you\'ve left your lights on once you open the door to leave the car? I\'ve got into a really bad habit of leaving my lights on and draining my battery, as i\'m so used to my other cars telling me i\'ve left the lights on. I was just wondering whether a fuse or something may have blown, or if there is nothing there at all. If there is nothing there, does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get one working?
