What is a Apexi RX6 Turbo

does anyone have any info on this turbo and how it would run on an rx7, what is it similar too and what power can it achieve. also its cost as a kit?

Apexi Turbo manufactured by IHI in Japan.
Should see 350-375 atw on the turbo. It\'s a fast spooling turbo and good for track.

cool, what bar on standard ports are we talking to get that kind of power, i assume thats about 450 at the flywheel? just what psi is my question, is it smaller than the t40 group

Dudes my satin rx7 ran a Apexi RX6 unit,

Very quick spooling and good power delivery, did some research on the American rx7 club and the max power to get out of the unit was 450bhp @ flywheel and thats really pushing it, because it spools low it does move the car very quickly :Giggle

Quite a expensive bit of kit too from what i gathered.

a whole car with one on has just sold on ebay for 4101 quid, maybe i should have bought it. but i would have 3 of em on the drive, and thats not a good idea, how much for the kit just out of interest

I\'m looking for 1550 for the complete kit. That\'s what I paid.
Includes: turbo,wrapped manifold, wrapped downpipe, external wastegate with screamer pipe, oil lines, blanking plate kit, heatshield, induction kit, phew!
