hi bud had some of those on my car i took em off coz one of the lamps was missing when i bought the car however if i remember rightly
take out the original lights and pop up motors completly then the black tray should jiggle in place  making it obvious wich holes to use for bolts 1 i think is a nut that holds the wing on (youl know wen you see it)
as for the wires i\'m a bit hazey but the long red wire goes from left light to right light with a fuse,
there should be a plug that fits into the original 3 pin light plug each side (were you unplug original headlight)
the halo bits  were wired into my side lights
so ....sidelights =halo ....dip beam = one light each side ....full beam =both lights each side
hope this helps a bit im a blitherin idiot who just ripd the lot out without a care
anyone readin this who wants to buy same lights with 1 lamp missin let me know :cheers

Just be aware that unless you have an extremely tame and helpful MOT tester, you\'ll be swapping back to the standard pop-ups for one day a year, cos those ones you\'ve got there WILL fail an MOT for lack of beam pattern. Mine did!

You probably don\'t really need the relay unless you\'re wiring them so both lights on each side come on for high beam, or all the time or something. I\'d expect they\'re only single filament bulbs, so you probably can\'t have all four on all the time cos then you\'ll have no high beam facility IYSWIM. If you\'re just having one light per side for main and one for dipped beam, there\'s no real need to faff about wiring in relays the standard wiring set up should be man enough to handle it.

thx guys ill try to have a look tommorow(dont really have time to work on my car during the week because of my stupid  job) but could you please tell me where the side lights are wired to?? will i see it straight away or should i look for it?? and the other thing there is two wires coming out of the each bulb red/black and another the same

then on the cable on the last picture i got this wires in the sleeving one is black/blue and the other blue/black what are they for?

oh and lets say i got it all done, and it works fine etc hod to adjust them? i know there are bolts at the back but what should they be pointed at?

thank you

rustyrex

ok dude ive got the lot out now to av a look for yer.....ive got a 3 spade conecter like youve got in the picy plug that were the old headlight was pluged in..
then thers a plug wid a black wire and ablue wire that plugs into one of the new lights .....then theres a simlier plug wid a white wire and a black wire plug that into the other new light (do this for each side of car)
ive also got a red wire join that over to other side so both light units are join via red wire
the red and black wires comin out of the lamp is what was connected to the sidelights to make the halos work you gota improvise a bit with extra wire to go from them red and black wires to sidelights mine was done wid 240 volt household wire lol
hope this helps

I have just removed these type of lights for my car as it failed the MOT horribly.

They are adjusted by the MOT tester or a good garage with a beam detector, adjusted using the screws at the rear of the lamps.

If I was you I would stick them back on ebay and save the pennies for some Cwest lights or pop the standard pop-ups back on.... i guarantee you will do it soon enough anyway! Either that or hack them up and modify them with some HIDs!

hmm just doing it now and these wires coming out the bulbs dont fit the plug on the cable:(..need to sort something out...

sickboy same lights as mine passed 2 mot\'s.worst part was removing old pop up motors/arms due to needing tiny hands,if the rotor arms start going when you are removing (did on mine) pull the fuse.also had to grind off some metal where the old lights fitted onto as new ones wouldnt seat right, found the connectors to back of lights not a tight fit & lights kept going off with slightest bounce on the road so stuck them on with duck tape - fine for over 2 years

got it installed and connected, but i dont know if i done it right

side lights:- just blue rings inside the light(and normal side lights)
normal light - two bulbs inside+rings
full beam- two outside beams+rings

is this how it should be?

rustyrex

sickboy good job dude, sounds like there working properly
