The sound of a T51 is the dogs bitz, so here is my project to convert the T04Z to T51 stlyeee...

Machine compressor housing

Take one block of Aluminium...

Crunch some numbers...

Cut some metal...

Stage 1 complete...

Move to stage 2...

More magic and its done...

One ported shroud...

If it turns out to be a load of s!*t, I will be posting in the wanted section :mad:

Yes thats me, had my own shop for 6 years or so now. I used the billetbitz name to sell some parts for a while.

That is not my game, a fabrication shop is what you need.

Had a run out, a MKII may be on order to reduce vent gap between blades. It pulls boost fine, but so much noise it will soon get annoying.

I am not an expert on turbo compressor maps, I just tried this as an experiment. Each turbo is different, but modding T04Z will be easy enough. Would need to make sure just buying replacement compressor housing was an option in case of a F*!k up.

Very nice piece of work, but sounds like an air raid siren (or the start of a Red Lorry Yellow Lorry gig, for the ageing Goths in the audience! :Giggle). I think that would probably drive you mad before too long. Shame, looks excellent!
