power fc problems

well i figured I\'d make a start on fitting the bits and bobs on me motor and seem to have fallen at the first (and supposedly easiest) hurdle:(
 
 
yesterday I tried to fit my power fc to my stock (bar catback) fd, now as i understand it, all thats required is to plug it in let it idle for ten mins, add some load via ac leave for 10mins then finnaly switch on the demister for 10 and it should learn the idle
 
now when i went to put this in practise the car idled fine at 750rpm for ten mins when i went to put the ac on it hunted for a bit the revs started to drop then it stalled and i couldnt restart without giveing it some throttle.
I replaced the orignal ecu and everthing ran fine so i tried again today, before i started the car i reset the ecu via the commander started and again it idled fine for 8mins or so so i put the air con on and the same thing happened
 
i\'ve left the ecu unplugged and the battery disconnected, now before i try again has anyone got any ideas as to what i\'m doing wrong???

just want to say a big thanks to kerim of powergains who after i called him out of the blue, turned up on his way home and sorted it out - was issues with the idle control setup for those interested
 
will definetly be paying him a visit for future work
