Hi guys,

Does anyone know what the pipe size is for the above?

Thanks

hairyhoover

i think -8 should be ok... im sure thats what i used.

Kash_

thanks dude, any ideas where I can get this from?

Lum

-8 is 1/2" which is pretty big, you\'ll be fine with 3/8" mate.
Have you got a flange for the side of the block too?
If you know or can find out what threads are in the flanges then i can make you one mate!

oh crap I\'ve already ordered a 13mm oil hose as I thought 1/2" was okay :( the thing is the the old pipe is a rubber one and is pretty big and looks similar size to the heater matrix pipe so am hoping it will be okay... for the oil drain on the turbo I have a flange with a metal pipe coming out of it on which the oil hose sits on and a similar looking flange & pipe on the engine...

You could always pop into Think Automotive. Not to far from where you live at all. The guys there were really helpful when I got stuck with pipe work for oil lines.

Also, I think you get MRC club discount there too. Oh and they are open on a Saturday till about 1pm.

1/2" will be fine mate, you can\'t really go to big. Just meant that 3/8 would have been adequate!

I\'ve attached a picture of the pipe which I finally got off the car... looking at it now I think I may have got a size too small :eek what do you think?
